This March, Flavours of Hope Cafe is proud to host a special weekend pop-up series in celebration of International Women’s Month, spotlighting women-owned food businesses at Granville Island Public Market. Our featured vendors:
Dar Darak Samira Kitchen - Traditional Palestinian and Saudi Arabian dishes inspired by generations of family recipes, bringing the spirit of “my house is your house” to every bite.
Food on the Table - A Vancouver-based meal delivery and catering company creating nourishing, globally inspired frozen meals and elevated catering made with real, whole ingredients.
Dulce Zaza - Peruvian snacks and desserts rooted in childhood memories of baking, crafted to evoke warmth, comfort, and togetherness in every sweet bite.
Everything Za’atar - A family-run Syrian business specializing in handcrafted za’atar blends, manakesh, croissants, and pita chips infused with bold Middle Eastern flavour.

Flavours of Hope Cafe at Granville Island Public Market
About the Cafe
Flavours of Hope Cafe is now open at the Granville Island Public Market. This year-long community space brings together five immigrant women-owned and Black-owned food businesses offering comforting meals, delicious baked goods, and pantry favourites inspired by cultures around the world.
Enjoy a shared menu created by:
• Sabor a Yucatán - flavourful Yucatecan dishes like cochinita pibil, frijoles, lime soup, and horchata
• Elaichi Patisserie - Indian-inspired pastries and desserts crafted with French techniques
• Kula Foods - soulful, plant-based Afro-vegan dishes and snacks
• Ruka Cocina - homestyle Chilean comfort food and traditional empanadas
• Elbo Patties - flaky Jamaican patties with bold Caribbean flavour
