We’re celebrating the official launch of our new year-round, community-driven cafe at Granville Island… and you’re invited!
Thank you for supporting us since our opening weekend last month! Now, we’re ready to welcome our community for a special afternoon of traditional food, delicious treats, and holiday joy. Come gather with us and get to know the five local, immigrant women-owned and Black-owned food businesses behind our collaborative menu:
Kula Foods: African plant-based lentil stew, sambusa and spiced hot chocolate
Sabor a Yucatan: Yucatecan cochinita pibil, frijoles, lime soup and horchata
Elaichi Patisserie: Indian inspired sweet + savoury pastries and desserts
Elbo Patties: Jamaican jerk chicken, beef and mushroom patties
Ruka Cocina: Chilean traditional beef, chicken, cheese empanadas and sopaipillas
Enjoy seasonal food samples, special menu offerings, and holiday raffle baskets.
